Had a dream as if i was re-living yesterday. Except things had changed! Is it normal?

So first off let me explain: I was practing my awareness alot yesterday, by living as if i was litteraly dreaming and knew i was Lucid. I also started reciting a mantra, and created a new dream journal to improve my recall again.

Well the mantra and everything else, worked even the awareness i believe (although i wasn't aware enough lmao)
And i remembered one long vivid dream! I'm starting to get my recall back, yay (:

My mom had cooked yesterday also. I am mentioning this because it was apart of my dream

So the dream: my dad eating the food my mom cooked yesterday,
It was exactly the same, every detail (except for the fact that he didn't have one topping on. That could've made me Lucid)
He also started to hit me with a belt in the dream, because i made a mistake and spit in his food while talking (oops lol)
This should have been another key to making me Lucid because none of these things actually happed yesterday. It was almost as if like, certain thinga were added into my day haha.

So yea: That's basically what happened. Is it normal? Do you think since i was practicing my awareness as if i "was" in a dream 24/7, that that could've caused such a strange dream?
My overall awareness in this dream seemed to be a 3/10, but that's 1 point better then i gave my non lucid dreams, before i started practicing my awareness.

I know this too and yes it could be because you practised your awareness this day. Although I think it is normal to have some weird changed things in your dream when you are dreaming about the previous day. Maybe they were some random thoughts you had that day but not you practising that "changed" the day. ;)
