Coincidence or not: Dream altering reality

OK, so the weirdest thing happened to me today. I was taking a nap because of my headache and decided to do lucid dreaming. My setting was in a house with a few music stars. The only star I can actually remember was tupac. Anywho, during this dream, we were smoking hookah for a good while, then the fire alarm went off, and I though, "oh yeah, we forgot to take that off" or something like that, but it started getting weird when I actually woke and realized that the fire alarm had started going off. It was very spooky because there was no fire. The fire alarm went off until the fire department came. 2 people walked in and checked everything in the house and were unable to determine exactly what the cause of it was until they went to my sisters room and realized that her smoke detector was malfunctioning so they decided to take it off and told my dad to get a new one. When they left my dad decided to put the smoke detector back on and it hasn't rung since. Now, I don't know if this is a stretch but do you think this is just a crazy coincidence or did my dream actually alter reality?

It's not a crazy coincidence and your dream didn't alter reality. We all retain our waking life senses while we're dreaming so that we're able to wake up in the event of an emergency.

I can say that I've had similar experiences. I wake up from a dream concert only to find the same song playing on my waking radio. Which came first? The concert or the radio?

Its easy to assume the radio started it all, but it opens up a lot of possibilities to consider that the concert came first.

Very often I'll fall asleep watching telly and have a Dream about something strange.
The other day I had a vivid Dream that I was backstage at a Take That concert (some old boy band from UK), when I woke up I rewinded the TV and they were being interviewed on there, hence sparking the Dream.
