Hi. The title basically says the most of it, I am wondering if the artificial light can have any interference with my dreaming, and dream recall? It seems as if I remember very few dreams now lately that I've been using my laptop before bed. Is the computer screen the reason?
Artificial light before bed might mess with your melatonin levels and cause problems with sleep. You can find it on Google. I don't know though, if this has an effect on dreaming or dream recall.

The artificial light doesn't have any interference with your dreaming and dream recall. If you aren't conscious of your dreams, you aren't aware enough of those dreams. If you can't recall what you were previously conscious of, your memory is the cause.
