understanding vibrations
Last night I had a dream, and became lucid when the walls of a house morphed a bit. But then all went black and I at first thought I woke up. But I was perfectly still and thought maybe I could do DEILD. Now, I use DILD only, so I need a little guidance. I felt perfectly awake, but suspect I was not. I felt my body vibrate right to left about 4 a second. I recalled slow vibrations can move you to LD, and fast vibrations to OBE or astral projection. So i thought maybe this was a possible WILD start. But I didn't know if I was too wide awake and needed to sort of fall asleep, or if I was fine and should just focus on the vibrations. I elected to fall asleep basically and did not then move into an LD. Should I have focused on the vibrations or what?

I began my (so far very poor) LD career with WILD-s. I had some 15. Almost all of them was going across the vibrations. Sometimes softer, sometimes harder. Stay calm and be aware. Do not think. Just observe. Many times the vibrations was gone, and there was darknes. Then I opened my eyes and made a reality check. Almost always, I was in a dream. When I reach the vibrations, Im happy, because I know that, this means lucid dream. 99 %. :)

When you experience vibrations, you may or may not be in a dream. To test whether you are or not, you do a motionless reality check. If you're dreaming, you can start with your dream. But, if you're still awake, you still need to focus on falling asleep all of the way.
