My WILD experience

I have been trying to lucid dream for a while and and tried to do WILD before but to no success. there was one night were I convinced myself I was going to have a lucid dream and in the dream without me knowing it I did a reality check and I realised I was in a dream. once in the dream I thought I was in control but I wasn't but I still know I was in a dream. since then I have had a lot of confidence I would be able to lucid dream, so I started to do WILD. each night I would struggle and not get anywhere except last night when I tried a new position. I when into SP and started seeing things. the world started to build around me, but then my eyes started twitching I said to myself be calm relax but when I did that my eyes started to naturally open and then would have to shut them which causes tension, I am convinced that I will get it but just asking if anyone has an idea on how to stop it. also with the times that i failed to get to that stage I would get up and look at my phone and realised I was there for about an hour and a half but it only feeling like it was half an hour even though I am concious if anyone could clear any of this up for my sake and for people who may also have this problem.
