Can't move in LD
Hello everyone... I have a problem..whenever I enter a lucid dream,I can't seem to move...I do realize that I'm dreaming, but I can't move my body..
I decided on posting this here after last night...I entered SP and then LD 3-4 times last night and every single time I couldn't move....I start LDing in my room, I'm out of my bed but I can't move... Does anybody else experience this?Is there any known solution?

Hey there,
What's always worked for me is to not focus on the paralysis. What's likely happening is that your sleep and dream are so shallow you're still processing waking stimuli, in this case the feeling of your body being paralysis. Focusing on it, by trying to break the paralysis, will just make it stronger (because you're feeding it attention). Instead, focus on the other dream elements. The best way to make the paralysis go away is to ignore it.

I've experienced this myself a fair bit. A trick that's worked for me before is rolling out of my bed rather than trying to sit up straight. Take your time and relax as much as possible.

When I realise that I can't do something in a lucid dream, I just tell myself that I can do it, and just do it anyway. I've surprised myself with how often that works.
