Hey there,
It sounds to me like in your dream you were very close to awakening and the sensations of your waking life where seeping into your dream (or maybe you were already actually waking up).
Try not focus on your physical body at all, as this will shift your attention away from the dream and likely "pull you out", as you describe. Instead, shift your attention as much as you can to sensations which you know are dream sensations. Sounds, sights, smells, things that you know are part of your dream that you can touch. This should put your focus back to the dream (effectively grounding and stabilizing it) and cause the awareness of your physical body to disappear after a while.
Hope that helps,

I totally agree with redrivertears, great advice.
I am more aware of my physical body occasionally in lucid dreams that happen around my waking up time. It can be remedied temporarily by following redrivertears' advice (we have to wake up eventually :cheeky:).
But I rarely experience that during lucid dreams which occur early in the night.
So last night I had more lucid dreams. The first lot I woke up in the dream.i was at work and called a number but got the wrong person. Then he gave me another number to call which I didn't hear properly so I asked him for it again but he gave a different number.i asked him a few times more and every time the number was different. Suddenly I clicked, wait I'm on vacation not at work and the ship I work on looks nothing like this . It became obvious that it was a dream. So I tried to just look and hear and feel the surroundings to stabilize the dream. It helped, every so often would become physically aware and try stabilize again and it worked. Then the best thing happened I woke up at about 11 and went back to sleep. Relaxed my body and told myself I would have another lucid dream and I did I went straight in to a lucid dream it felt like I slipped thru some fuzzy black field and on the other side was my lucid dream. All my other LDs before, I woke up in the dream and realized I was dreaming but this was the first time I went straight in to a LD.yyyyyaaaayyyy
Cheers!
