My first lucid dream ever! ~crazy
Hey guys, I had my first lucid dream ever last night after about 7 months of on and off trying. I generally keep a Dream Journal and do Reality checks but recently stopped doing the Dream Journal to try and help me remember my dreams alot better (which has helped). Every night before I goto sleep I listen to alot of Classical Piano as it helps me relax and think about things. Anyway, I decided to goto bed earlier then usual last night so I put on my music and went to sleep and had a normal dream (as usual). 6 hours later I woke up in the middle of the night and couldnt get back to sleep, not that anything was going on I just felt half awake and half asleep. My music had stopped after 2 hours like usual and I generally dont put it back on but I randomly decided to put it back on and listen/think. My mind was so at ease and I just felt good which is unusual for me, after being up listening to it for 30 mins or so I fell back asleep and this is when my dream started. I was in my room playing computer games for maybe an hour or so and eventually decided to walk out into my kitchen which I then started talking to my Mum and Grandma. After talking to them for a bit(no idea what we talked about) I started thinking that this dream was taking really long, this is when the lucidity started. I got really excited and could put my hands through the table, and started yelling "Im in a lucid dream!" to everyone around me and started to get a little too excited where I could feel like the dream was slipping away so I decided to stop for a second and breath and it started to come back to me. I was absolutely amazed about how clearly I could see and feel things (I didnt focus on smell, taste or hearing in these moments but I do remember my hearing felt a little bit off) I took a peak into my room and saw how big it was with a tv the size of a theatre in it! And then I could feel the dream slipping away from me like I shouldnt be there. I noticed the whole time I was excited I could hear something yelling "Stop it!, Stop it!", I noticed it was my grandma and mum saying it to me but then I suddenly woke up. I woke up in my head feeling light headed thinking that was a side effect from the lucid dream, the house looked exactly like normal except felt cold and not very dim. Except in this house that felt like normal it still felt like something was missing, when I looked out the window it was all white and it felt like there was something in the house watching me. I felt so drowsy the whole time in the house. Then I actually woke up in the real world and found it hard to question what was real or fake. It has been on my mind all day and I would like to know what I can do to be able to keep having lucid dreams (I plan on doing the dream journal again). This Lucid dream felt amazing like I was on a kind of drug, but it also felt very scary toward the second half of the dream. It all just feels so vivid.
