Mcild (long)
Minecraft induced lucid dream
Yep
you heard me correctly
Minecraft is a different game, as all players know. You build things, you go on adventures, kill random animals, and can even fly on creative mode. You can change it from day to night, explore an infinite world and have a great time doing so.
Remind you of anything?
Exactly, and if you don't know what it should remind you of, its lucid dreams. Minecraft in some aspects is just like a lucid dream, you can do whatever you want , and who says you can't do reality checks whilst playing the game!
So here's my idea for MCILD
Step 1. Go to sleep
Step 2. Wake up at the same time as you would in WBTB
Step 3. Play some Minecraft doing as many things that you couldn't do in real life and doing reality checks as you go, this way your brain is now primed to search for things that are out of place and ready to do reality checks if things are wrong.
Step 4. Go back to sleep
You now have an extremely high chance of LDing
Here's a couple tips to increase your chance of LDing using MCILD:
Tip 1. Whilst playing the game, make sure your screen brightness is as low as possible so that your brain doesn't interpret the light as day and you wake yourself up so much that you can't get back to sleep
Tip 2. Do as many RCs as possible, if you don't, it completely defeats the idea of doing impossible things and might actually decrease your chance of LDing because if something weird happens and you don't do a RC then when you are actually dreaming your brain is gonna be all like 'oh that tree is upside down, so what, I'm not gonna do a RC, no way scrub' and then you will fail.
Thanks for reading this far, don't forget to leave a comment! :)

One last thing, if you have minecraft pocket edition, play that instead of PC edition. Getting up out of bed to go and turn on your PC is going to wake you up, whereas picking up your phone/tablet will not. Thanks!

My latest LD was actually in a Minecraft world and it was very surprising since I haven't had many LDs yet and I wasn't even trying that night. I also haven't played it in a while but I was watching my friend play it a few days before and although the LD didn't last long it was extremely vivid and felt incredible. I can't wait to try that again
But I would think it would be better to just imagine playing it in your head rather than for real no? I mean personally if I did play it before going back to bed I would have a much harder time to fall asleep but maybe that's just me
