      Semi lucid

Hello everyone I was just wondering if semi lucid dreams are possible. I have been trying to get lucid dreams since 7 months ago. I would say I have been successful because I can now remember a dream or two every night. Now my point is I had a short semi lucid or I don't know what is it called, but in my dream I was in a house and a guy appeared and told me I was in a lucid dream and I did a reality check and It worked but the dream was not as real as a lucid dream it looked like a normal dream but I was a little conscious. After some time I attempted a wild and I had a semi lucid dream again but this time it was a little more vivid and it lasted longer. I don't know what it is wether a semi lucid or I don't know can someone tell me what it actually is.

These are also called pre-lucid dreams. These are dreams where you think that you're dreaming without ever knowing that you are.

Remember that vividness or realness does not matter when it comes to classifying a dream as lucid. All that matters is whether or not you know for sure that you're in a dream.

Sometimes I realize that I'm dreaming, but I don't realize the significance of this. I don't remember in that moment that I can try to change things, or even remember anything about myself really, I just know that I'm in a dream. I don't really think of these as lucid dreams though because I still follow dream logic and somewhat believe in the reality of the dream.

Wow, I've had several of these and never knew how to describe it, thanks for writing it so nicely haha. I am not sure how to classify these as well.
