Fight to keep my eyes shut?

      Hi all,

Let me quickly introduce myself; I am not new to lucid dreaming or this forum, but I have been consumed with other things in life for a few years and recently focused my attention back on LDing. I have been practicing WILDing as of late and have a small issue I'd like to resolve. While laying still after some time I can sometimes feel my eyes slowly start to open. I usually fight back by gently holding them closed. I am worried if I open my eyes I will gain back awareness and have to start all over. Does this happen to anyone else? Will opening my eyes reset everything or could it possibly launch me into a lucid dream? Thanks for any help!

^^ You might try wearing a sleep mask when attempting WILD's. That way it won't matter if your eyes open a bit, because they will still be effectively lidded. The less to worry about during WILD, the better.
