Over the Garden Wall

Has anyone seen this mini-series? It aired on Cartoon Network, but it is unlike anything that they are currently putting out today or recently.
It was basically split into 10 Chapters of 10 minutes each. The colors were very old and grim, had a very creepy atmosphere to it. A lot of the music was classical and smooth. Fits the theme of Halloween very nicely :3
I just thought I would share this series with you guys since I found it very inspiring. It has the feel of a classic Disney movie but also a very complex moral and plot. You can finish the entire series in under a couple hours. Highly recommend :D

The atmosphere does. Quite a bit. It may just be me and my personal dream habitat, but this show gives me nostalgia, but can't pinpoint where the nostalgia leads :\

I think they aired the show around thanksgiving. I saw it and thought it was good. My favorite was the bird character. Theres a dream scene in the show but I don't remember if the boy turns lucid.: 3 I might rewatch it.

I think I might have only heard of it and it sounds good so I'll check it out and tell you later what I thought of it :)

Well... I would definitely have nightmares if I watched them as a kid haa. But it was such a humorous and creepy show. Loved the horse.. And Beatrice the bird.. and Frodo's character.. and I guess Greg..

I definitely felt like it was very dream like.

Probably gonna rewatch it in the next week or so.

Yea, I loved it. The atmosphere really seemed like an old, brown(?), cartoon. Loved it.

Yes, a lot of the animation style (especially the cloud scene) was taken from older animations, so it has an "old/new" feel. I watched a lot of old cartoons growing up, and thus had a lot of dreams and nightmares with that kind of animation, so the show seems somehow really specific to me.

I think that the brown is the whole "fall setting" It is so good!
