Using WILD technique while in a dream

So the other night I was having a dream that I was in an open field, I then had the fantastic idea to try and enter a lucid dream, what I found was that I experienced all of the usual sensations, which for me usually is the sensation of my body spinning faster and faster whilst my ears are bombarded with the sound of a jet engine, in a way it felt like I wa being returned home after being abducted by aliens. The weird part was that after this I actually returned to my real non-asleep body. So I guess my question is, has anyone else experienced this because it is pretty fucking cool.
