I find that when I'm well rested, or even decently rested, I wake up exactly on the hour. For example if my alarm is set for 7am my eyes will open at 6:59. This morning I woke up at 9:59 :)

same exact thing with me, except it's 7 min. before the time I need to get up. No alarm needed!
Maybe you're one of those people whose bodies have a natural clock in them. I'm not sure, but I'm pretty certain I can do it, too. I'll wake up for school and be super tired, then I'll say to myself, "Man I wish I could wake up an hour earlier so I could sleep longer." Yes, I am aware my logic makes no sense.;p
Anyway, the next day I'll wake up exactly one hour earlier than I did the day before, it's actually quite convenient. :D
Since I've started LD experiments I've noticed I've been waking up around 6 or 7 every morning (on school days)
same thing here. i have my stereo on a timer, it turns on at 6:30... i'm always lying there at 6:25 waiting.
I can set my alarm at almost any time and I'll wake up 5 minutes before it goes off :o
I think its because we know when we're supposed to wake up so our bodys stress picks up a little while before it goes off.
Yep :)
Yeah, I have the same thing. Also, now that I RC whenever my watch chimes on the hour, I find myself automatically RCing 3 or 4 seconds before it hits the hour.
I woke up at 9:23 this morning and I knew I had to be up by 9:30 before I went to bed last night. that's good stuff.
Since my parents were taking my sister to a track meet at 7:15am, I got my mom to come wake me so I could try a WILD. I woke up at 6:05, and then she walked in to wake me at 6:10. It's like my body knew she was going to be late.
As a sidenote, my WILD was a complete failure. :(
Its hard... I cant get my body to fall asleep if my mind stays awake.
