What is this state ??

So I think I've seen a post about this before not exactly sure but anyway I get this state at least twice a week and basically I'm not asleep but I'm not awake I know that's sound lien wtf and it's not sleep paralysis or hypnagogic imagery just to clarify. So anyway I'll be going to sleep like normal and then it feels like I'm about to fall asleep like that reality slipping feeling then it just stops and I just lie there,but I know I'm asleep yet I can feel my physical body and see from my physical body's eyes but my body's eyes are closed sooo yeah anybody experience something similar or know what it is ??

It sounds like hypnagogic imagery to me. What makes you sure that it's not?

If it's not hypnagogic imagery, it's a WILD in which you have a false awakening.

I have had hypnagogic imagery before and this is not the same feeling and look as before

False awakening by which I'm paralyzed??

Yes, that's what it is.

You're dreaming that your dream body is paralyzed, just like your body in waking life. Your dream body doesn't have to be paralyzed when you're dreaming, though. You can break free from it. If you try to break free from it, but still can't move, you can try floating in the air and fly to get around.
