Making things more fun!
I may not have ever had a lucid dream in my life, but I have been researching for a few years now and I know that you can feel pain in lucid dreams. So here's the idea, to make your dreams more exciting, say, when you're skydiving, just remember that if you fell from up here and your parachute DIDN'T deploy, then hitting the ground would be insanely painful if only for a fraction of a second. The idea of risk when doing an exciting activity increases adrenaline levels causing you to feel not only more aware, but also much more exhilarated. You see, if you weren't scared of death as you fell to the ground, it wouldn't be as fun, it's like playing a video game about flying vs. actually flying. Try it guys I'm sure it'll have the desired effect, and please tell me your results if you do :)
Thanks for reading!

The only problem I foresee, and I've experienced especially when falling in dreams, is that the excitement will prove too much and wake me up. Even if I'm able to get back into the dream, I'll be on the ground again and be too worried about losing lucidity to try again.

Most of the time (mostly in non-lucids, but I assume it could happen in lucids), when I experience a large fall or anything else that would cause extreme physical pain for a small moment, it would wake me up.
So that'd be a big problem for an idea like this. Still, a really stable and experienced lucid dreamer could probably pull it off. Nice idea!
