I've realized that my main problem in my LD attempts are doubt. I feel like that I'm never going to try it or that its too good to be true or out of my reach for someone like me. How do you get rid of doubt for lucid dreams?

Hey there,
Baby-steps, basically. Do not focus on what you don't have. Focus on what you DO have.
Is your dream recall getting stronger? Are you seeing more dreamsigns in your dreams (even if you fail to recognise them)? Are your dreams getting more vivid and fantastic. All these things can point towards an increase of awareness in dreaming. Find out how your dreams are changing, how your awareness and your intention to dream is having an effect on your dreams and build upwards, constructively, from there. Don't spend your time thinking about the lucid dream you didn't have, but spend it thinking about the great dream that you did.
