Sorry if I posted in the wrong category. Can someone please explain to me the differences between an OBE and a lucid dream? |

Lucid dreams only occur during sleep while OBEs can occur when you're awake as well. |
In my opinion OBEs are just lucid dreams and because lucid dreams can be extreamly realistic people think they are out of there bodies.(It's just my opinion) |
So OBE's are just very realistic lucid dreams? And if they involve the feeling of being outside your physical body how do you wake up from them? |
First, keep in mind that the only answers you will get are opinions. |
If we're just talking about definitions, there's another difference. Lucid dreams are typically associated with normal sleep. OBE's are reported during sleep, but also in other situations like near-death, surgery with general anesthesia, trance, drug-altered states, and so on. |

I am sure about illusion. I am not so sure about reality.
