Just curious to know what people did and what goals they set for themselves....for instance my goal is to teleport to a nice beach....and the first thing i did in a lucid dream was that as soon as i was lucid i flew and wanted to see a pretty lady which i did =)
I'm pretty sure the first thing I ever did in a lucid dream was go, "Oh my god I'm dreaming!!" Only to have my dream promptly end about three seconds later. But boy were those few seconds exhilarating. That was close to six years ago before I even joined the site :')
The first thing I ever really accomplished though was flying. My current goals now are to steadily meet with my dream guide and have her help me with a persistent realm and time dilation. Before all that though I want to learn to teleport with ease and I really need to learn some kind of trick for illumination. I don't do so well in the dark in my lucid dreams. Another one of my recent goals was to learn to go directly into a dreamscape from WILD rather than start in my room, which I just accomplished my first instance of the other day, yay!
Wow you sound really experienced...i hope to be that good one day....may i ask....i love the sound of having a dream guide but did you make up your dream guide in your thoughts which then lead to seeing her in a lucid or did u just ask to see your guide in a lucid dream?
Well, I've done both. My first experience with a dreamguide I kind of came up with one in my mind. Hmm, well sort of. I guess I really only came up with a name for him. Virgil, as in the one who guides Dante in the Divine Comedy. I thought I was so clever haha. So I guess my only expectation was that it would be a male dreamguide and that he would respond to Virgil. When I saw him he turned out to be a little middle-eastern kid. Then when I asked him for help with something he turned into a dog rolled over onto his back and stared up at me with his little dog eyes. So then I scrapped that idea, as I was a little more than annoyed.Quote:

More recently I did a little more research on dreamguides and stumbled across "The Dreamguide Complex", stating that your dreamguide is likely to be the opposite gender of you. So, I feel like that could have influenced my next encounter with my dreamguide to a degree. This second time I just called out for my dreamguide. I heard her voice call back and I asked her to meet me halfway as I was walking towards where the voice came from. So I met my dreamguide there, but got a little distracted. I was too excited I guess. I just grabbed her a flew around with her in my arms haha.

My first lucid dreaming was i wake up in my bed i go to a mirror and did rc like people say they cant see them self in a mirror but i did i didnt do anything cool at my first lucid just walked from one room to another and when i tryed to get out of appartaments i wake up :D

In my first non-intentional lucid I of course decided to find a beautiful girl and do some... unspeakable things with her :mwahaha: . In my first intentional lucid as soon as I became aware, I tried to get out of a building just to get outside to see the dream world. Sadly the dream ended right away. However in my second intentional lucid dream, I was able to spin around and I was astonished that I actually stayed in the dream and didn't wake up. Then I met my fake dream guide and I went to take a class with him.
Now it's mostly that when becoming lucid I take off and fly to the sky without hesitation. I have no idea why this happens, maybe it's that "yes! I'm here" - attitude that forces you to do something incredible as soon as possible.
i just remember my non intentional lucid when i release m dreaming but with no reason just release it and i run i run so fast and i start fly and then i wake up or get into dream

My first lucid happened as a child... so I climbed and rode a purple T. rex in some prehistoric scene...
In my first intentional LD, I probably just woke up... Don't remember the first intentional one, probably because there isn't much to remeber :P

I don't remember my first,but I remember he first one I had since I took an interest in lucid dreaming.
I ate a load of bourbons,then went to the loo to take the world's biggest dump.I noticed a wire-bound book next to the sink.On the cover,there was a picture of me in a forest and the trees had faces.There was something very creepy about that picture,but I can't explain what.That's when I realized I was dreaming.I went outside to find more dream signs,just to make sure.I found some strange looking butterflies.That's what made me sure it was a dream.I turned myself into an angel with black wings and black clothes.I shot into the sky like Superman.Then I woke up.
My very first lucid dream I remember was when I was around 6 years old~ I was in the dream and could feel it coming to an end I had some lovely shoes on and I was desperate to bring them back to waking life reality :D I layed down to sleep in the lucid and put my beautifull shoes under my dream pillow and let my eyes close...I knew soon I would wake up in my waking life bed and tried to make the command to the dream that my dream shoes would arrive with me and I would find them under my pillow :wizard:
I was so surprised when they weren't there as I made such strong wishes :cheeky:
The first goals (many years later!) I set were to get lucid and ask some questions ~ it was amazing as I asked for a prophesy of my life which was very interesting :alien:

I don't know for sure what my first LD was, because I had them every once in a blue moon since I was little, and I didn't make a significant thing of them nor always make records of them because I never realized they were “special”. So there are a few possible candidates:
The earliest possible recorded instance of lucidity or semilucidity was in a diary I kept at ten years of age: a bad dream where I said I “tried to do what I thought would end the dream, but it didn't work”. My writing skills at that age weren't the best, and my memory is limited to what I wrote, so that's a bit ambiguous.
Later that year, I recorded a dream where I definitely seemed to realize I was dreaming. I had read something in a book or article that said something about (though I probably misread or misunderstood) colors in dreams fading from memory. Apparently I thought it was talking about colors appearing to fade during a dream, and I had apparently been trying for a while to remember to check for this during one of my dreams. In this dream, I finally did, and it did seem like it was happening, though I recognized that it could merely have been “just part of the dream”. Then, having performed my goal, I just tried to wake myself up next (I didn't know any better :P), but it took a while because I never seemed to be able to wake myself up from a dream exactly when I wanted.
Earliest LD I recorded after I knew what LDs formally were and that they had a name (about my teenage years) was where I was in my room and studied some sort of model of a building, shaped as a box or cube. I observed one side, turned to look at another, then looked back at the first again and noted that it remained unchanged, thinking to myself that this must be because my mind was able to remember the side and regenerate it during the dream. (Then I tried to wake myself up again… I did this a lot early on; not sure what I was thinking! :D)
I remember that many of my other early LDs when I dabbled into them were things like this, observing familiar objects or aspects of the dream just to see how my mind handled/rendered them. I still do quite a bit of that today, actually!
The very first thing I did? Be glad it was a nightmare, the second go ahead and kill a demon =D
The first thing I did was waking up on purpose. Other than waking up, my first lucid activity was flying. My first dream goal I had before going to bed was to summon a girl I like.
The very first thing when I was suspecting I was dreaming was to check my hands (they looked normal, though, I feel like it was mostly something I did automatically), then I tried flying.
