Persistent Realm Questions

Hey!

I'm no expert at lucid dreaming (still none lol), but finding interesting things about lucid dreaming helps motivating me to keep going!

Recently I have been reading about persistent realms (Hyu's guide) and have a couple of questions, for any of you who have one.

1) Are persistent realms always lucid dreams with no dream control, only the rules of your realm? Couldn't this be:
A- Semi-lucid dream
B- Expectation that makes you believe you can't use dream powers

2) If you cannot control it as you wish, is there a way to 'exit' a persistent realm if things turn bad? Or the only way, until you wake up, is to commit suicide?

3) Is this thing actually real? Or just VERY hard to have?
