I need more control!!
I am regularly having lucid dreams now...maybe once or twice a week and usually WILD. The problem is I don't seem to have an awful lot of control. I am definitely aware that I am dreaming and it feels so real that sometimes I'm afraid of doing something silly and actually its not really a dream! They always start the same way...my body is overcome by a pleasant tingly feeling that comes in waves and then I think great it's happening! I then wake in my room...do a reality check (i usually check my phone and the screen stays dark no matter what I do!) Then I fall to the floor to make sure it doesn't hurt before I do anything silly like jump out of a window! The big problem is whenever I try to leave the house and go and do something cool I wake up! ! Either for real or straight back into another lucid dream which can happen over and over again until I eventually really wake up...and it's very frustrating. So my question is...how can I get more out of these dreams?? Thanks in advance!!

Keep trying. You should get more and more control during every new dream. Also stay calm, don't panic and what's most important BELIEVE! You have to believe...no you have to KNOW that when you open the door in front of you, there will be Narnia, you have to KNOW that when you look at your hand, there will be a lightsaber.

Replace WILD with MILD and you could quite literally be describing my dreams a few months ago... Besides the generic (but nevertheless true) "stick with it, it'll come with time" I'll add that setting dream goals is very helpful. I find that when I have a mental checklist of 3 or so simple tasks to accomplish in a dream, I can stay in control and stable long enough to achieve them. I started really, really simple, like "stand up, reality check, then press my hand to the wall" If you can do this, advance it a little. Maybe try exiting the room, looking out a window and picking up an object. It really helped me to not get overwhelmed by the infinite possibilities, get excited and wake up, because I had set goals to achieve for each dream and if I achieved them I knew I would be able to set even more interesting goals for the next dream.
Good luck! It sounds like you're on the right track.

Thanks for advice guys! I've just had a morning nap - lazy I know but this is when I find it easy to WILD! This time I managed to leave the house- well not exactly leave by the front door but I imagined myself being outside and found myself on the grass on the front! I managed to fly with my brother (random) ! I had multiple awakenings and each time thought I was really awake until I went though a few reality checks! There was still lots that I tried to do which I couldn't but I think im getting there! I will set myself goals next time...hope it's not too long! :)
