      Questioning two things

I did some searching around but unfortunately did not find a clear answer to this. Concerning the topic at hand, i have questions about a few things.

・ What are the effects of disregarding non-lucids and only wanting and focusing on lucid dreams?
・ How important is a steady sleep schedule for lucid dreaming, like going to sleep at the same time everyday..?

The effects of completely ignoring normal dreams is probably negative. You should appreciate all dreams if you want to get lucid often. Not to mention, you would also be disregarding dream journals, dream signs, etc.

A steady sleep schedule helps with lots of aspects to lucid dreaming like WBTB and recall. I'd say say although it's not incredibly important, it's definitely important.

It seems that disregarding non-lucids is a huge mistake for me. Fortunately i solved it for now.

Yes, you need to practice dream recall...otherwise your lucid dream recall will also be weak. You tell your subconscious that dreams are important when you recall and journal. As far as regular sleep schedule I think that is less important than sufficient sleep. Sometimes I have stayed up late and slept in and still had LDs. just get enough sleep as later dream cycles are easier for LDs.

In the matter of regular sleep, i find it rather important for myself atleast since WBTB is pretty much the main reason i get LDs. And while DJ'ing is important, i've always been fine by just mentally journalling my dreams throughout all the years. This method doesn't increase my general recall by much, but it's still better than nothing. Having said that, i'm going to have to journal properly eventually since i need a better ability to recall my dreams anyway.
