Hey everyone,
So I'm more of an introvert than an extrovert & like observing my surroundings and contemplating my existence in real life. It's quite easy for me to realize that I'm dreaming when I sleep because I notice that the details are not real, so I can either go into an LD or continue the dream. What are your experiences with DILDs, and are you an extrovert or introvert?
Introvert here. In my opinion, it doesn't even matter since in my dreams I can be a huge extrovert even though I'm not.
I think the key trait is being introspective (actively reflective of your experiences) as opposed to introverted. One could be an extrovert yet still introspective. Maybe introspection is more common among introverts, though.
I am an introvert, and to be honest my LDs (when they trigger) are almost "automatic", I sort of realize I'm dreaming. Though to be fair I've been working a lot on dream incubation so this may be why. Even when I come to realize things aren't as they should be I seem to let the dream happen, since I'm already where I wanted to be. When true dream signs appear they puzzle me greatly but rarely trigger lucidity. I'm currently working on that.
