What are your current lucid task and skill goals?
Mine are:
Task:
1. Go to the Moon
2. Freefall from orbit
3. Hang on to the wing of a passenger plane and surprise the passengers
4. See what's on top of my kitchen cabinets
5. Walk around true copy of my apartment
Skill:
1. Learn to recognize when lucid dream is ending
2. Get better vision
Task:
1. Talk to my subconscious
2. Lay on a cloud
3. Go to sleep and see if it causes a false awakening
Skills:
1. Be able to summon a completely new surrounding
2. Get better vision
Number 3 interests me a lot. If anyone has experience I'd love to know.
They are decomissioning the international space station soon by crashing into the ocean. Imagine freefalling along side it like in the movie gravity! So cool!Quote:

That would be awesome! I was thinking to jump from some baloon like Felix Baumgarten did. Images of him standing up in the door if his metal capsule, looking down at the Earth, that kinda gives me a lucid boner. I wanna do that so bad : DQuote:

These days, I don't really have goals but I'm making some experiments with drawing during a LD. It's kindof funny because it loks very easy at first, when I draw the first lines, but quickly becomes very unstable and it's like my drawing is melting or changing!
To lucid dream at will.
I've been into lucid dreaming since 2007, and over the years have had many lucid dreams, but my interest in the subject tends to go up and down as life goes on. For now I'm back at it again and like i stated above would love to have them at will.
I have another one:
Visit some beautiful places from previous LDs.
1. Tahiti
2. Lencois sand dunes, Brazil - filled with rain water creating drop dead gorgeous pools of water of all shades of blue and green. sand dunes rainwater brazil - Google Search
I've been having trouble remembering to stay lucid recently, so I guess I want to try and learn that.
I had a DILD a few weeks ago that lasted until I forgot to keep up the awareness and by the time I remembered I woke up.
1. Create a stable occult space, like a pyramid, or like the one on the cover of "The Practice of Magical Evocation"
2. Create a doorway or magic triangle, some kind of 'doorway'
3. Evoke a Enochian intelligence. Perhaps by imprinting the 'entities' Sigil on the doorway, repeating its name, the 'keys' of the Aethers, filling the room with its corresponding element or planetary energy, and filling myself with said energy.
Simple ones for me:
1. Stay lucid for over 30 minutes
2. Turn on my iPod and see what (new?) music comes out of it (I've heard original music in dreams before)
Increase Dream Stabilization and Clarity
Task:
1. Seek guidance from subconscious or Buddha.
2. Rule a nation as a god king.
3. Go to the Akashic Records
4. Listen to EDM music that doesn't exist in the physical world.
5. Make a dream last ~2 hours.
Skill:
1. Improve lucid induction technique.
2. Improve stabilization.
Get lucid
My present goals:
- improve dream stablity
- master WILD
- prolong duration of the dream
To get lucid today.

Maybe I'll try playing games in my dream. Last time I was playing in skyrim.
1. Master longer dream duration.
Been having lucids since I had my first when I was 16, but still on average my lucid dreams are on the shorter side. I've had longer ones recently and I'm getting better at it, but it comes and goes. The methods I use that work in one dream for making it stable and long lasting, won't work the next time I try them.. then something else will work, then next time I try that and that doesn't work either. So I'm kind of at a loss on what to try next.
Right now, I want to find a way to get to a persistent area which has portals that lead to different dream scapes. I want to see how this one is going to develop over time!

My current goals can be quickly retrieved through a memory peg system. Current pegs are 1-5, though I have had up to 10 at other times.
1. Ask the dream to "show me an experience of non-duality" (performed and got a rush type of feeling, but I want to do this again)
2. Travel to a specific spot in New Zealand
3. More consistently narrate my dreams like ~Dreamer~ (performed, but want to see what happens when I do it often)
4. Ask the dream to "show me the method I should use to have more lucid dreams" (performed, but no satisfactory answers yet)
5. Expect all DC's to be helpful upon first contact (just added, although I often use jedi-mind trick with reluctant DC's)
My goal is to create a persistent dream world. I've already written a lot on the history and the culture and know the world pretty well from daydreams and stuff. Once I get good enough at Lucid dreaming (mainly consistency) I will travel there. It's a long way in the future tho!
In the more near term, I want to captain a space vessel in a massive battle. I really want to say:
"SHIELDS UP! RAAAM THE SONS OF GOATS!"
(Then leave by a secret lifeboat with my Second and entrust the job to the (most assuredly alarmed) crew)
Good Question! I really have not made my list for this year yet, I am a bit behind.
Here is a tentative list, as I am going to think of them right now on the spot =)
Tasks -
- 1) Discover who my dream guide is.
- 2) Befriend and speak with animals.
- 3) On separate occasions, willingly get eaten alive by an orca, a snake, and a dragon.
- 4) Try to meet my friend at our chosen location.
- 5) Explore the imagination generated universe both on land and in the ocean.
Skills -
- 1) Lengthen lucid dreams significantly.
- 2) Stabilize lucid dreams.
- 3) Summon any person or creature with a reasonable success rate.
- 4) Change the overall scene occasionally, but generally leaving location a surprise.
1. Lucid Dream first of all
2nd. Lucid Dream myself as Shadow the hedgehog as a human and follow the story of my fanfic.
Ah yes, this describes my "Lucid Lab." I have yet to make it there. I see it as a massive circular atrium atop a tall tower, open to the air on the sides with roman-style columns spaced all around the circumference, and between each pair of columns is a portal to a different planet/universe/scene, where you can see the scene through the portal. There are couches and food tables and fighting arenas and lots of instruments for performing experiments. Oh and I'll toss in a time dilation chamber, why not :).Quote:

A space elevator? That's some kind of genius. My current ultimate goal kind of has to do with space, to get past space and see what waits beyond.

It's pretty neat to read about everyone's goals, especially comparing the more experienced and less experienced dreamers. It gives me confidence of what I'll reach someday. Also good advice to put these on the peg system, will have to do that.
Tasks:
1. Fly (with full sensation and visuals)
2. Engage in sword combat
3. Create a persistent dream persona, characters, and narrative
4. Ask my subconscious how to make my dreams longer (asked Aug 26 but no response)
5. Ask my subconscious or a DC for a profound sensory experience
6. Consistently summon creatures and become them (dragon, giant boar), maybe create a lair and pillage human settlements
7. WILD successfully once this year
Skills:
1. Raise awareness of my senses of vision, touch, and hearing
2. Consistently stabilize to have longer and more vivid dreams
I have some more listed in my DJ. I'm confident I'll reach them all in time. :thumbup:
