Record your dreams to watch later..!

Apparently scientists have developed a machine that is capable of recording your dreams as images and playing them back to you at a later time..! They already have recorded examples of props drams, they're not Hollywood block busters, but hey, when I was a kid, you couldn't talk into a small device in your hand as you walked down the street, let alone pay games together across the world, so who knows eh..!? Sounds promising to me, I like the idea, what do you think..?

I was talking about such a machine to a friend the other day, and we wondered how effective a device like this (assuming it was possible) would be at fully capturing the dream experience.
A lot of dream content is non visual - not just other senses but also a kind of psychic knowledge i.e. just knowing things like "I'm randomly in this place for this reason".
