      My Dream Guides Refuse Me

Last night I finally met with a dream guide, but when I asked politely for stuff they wouldn't listen. I asked for their help or to explain where we are and they would say no and when I asked to meet with people they'd say no. In the past when I've made it clear I know I'm dreaming I get negative reactions so how can I work past this?

They aren't your dream guide if they refuse to help you do anything, in that case they are just a stubborn realistic DC.

Why do you think he is your dream guide?

This is reflective of your current mindset towards LDing (if I am wrong please let me know). Something to keep in mind is that the past is gone, and tonight could be completely different. It in fact, will be completely different. So my suggestion is to not worry about what has already happened, and relax about "having to work through something." Dreams are very fluid, and the next time you meet a DG it could be a great experience. If you are open to that happening, the odds are really not too bad.

Also, I would suggest inquiring a bit. "Any reason why you won't help me?" If the DC doesn't provide a helpful answer, just walk away. It's a dream, so there are plenty of things you can enjoy without a DG. Like the whole dream.

Third, I would check out that idea you have concerning DGs. Why do you feel like you need them? They are just another part of the mental landscape. Even if the DG "does" something cool, it was ultimately your own mind that did it.

I would relax. Be nice to the DG. If he doesn't do what you want, well, you know, not all DCs are going to be your play toys. So you could consider it good practice.

I consider them my dream guide because whenever I called out for my dream guide a replica of them would show up.
