My Idea of why can control dreams.

My friends say I'm a theorist without conspiricies. Meaning I have allot of time to think and I never waste it. I have been thinking allot of why we can control many aspects of our dreams and very few aspects of reality. I have come up with the following sortof theory on dreams.
I belive that somehow we are all connected within the waking life. If this is true then our minds could then mingle and conceive ideas and common bases of everyones reality. Thus making it hard for one mind to influence all of the rest in the worldly concousness. Now given this, I belive that when we dream our minds are seperated back into themselves, or a seperate plane where there are manny less minds. If this is true then it is the reason why we can control our dreams and have a very seperate life in a dream than in reality. This also may explain why people with scitzophrenia see thinks differently with us, because there brains may inhibit the rest of the worlds concousness.
Its just a theory but I'd like some feedback, what do you think about it?

If anything I think the dream world would have even more minds in it than normal. Then that causes things to become confusing or weird and then makes you forget because it was to much to take in.

Yeah, i was thinking about that. But i had an idea that perhaps dreams or heavy meditation were a type of internet. And the conciousness in the walking plane was a bunch if people semi isolated to themselves.

Hmmmm... An interesting theory.

If that were true then the world as we know it is merely the sum of everybody's Hopes, Expectations and knowledge. Therefore the way the world may progress is directly related to the perceptions of its past, present and future by all who occupy it. It must not always work out that way though. I guess that it would merely be a case of majority rules in the way the world is. Meaning that the more people in a similar frame of mind, the more reality will become like that expectation. It might explain some of the problems the world seems to have... I mean people are always saying how there is so much poverty in the world and how things are steadily going downhill. Maybe because the majority of people continue to think that way it will continue to be that way....

there are many explenations of schitzophrenia, but you have a point on the hypothosis of different 'plains' of reality...schitzoprhenia patients are almost devient or delusional from reality. but what is reality?

Exactly. Thats the question that i was trying to awnser what is reality and what is dream reality. By the minds being more loosly connected in dreams it allows you to control things and not be overpowered by other people. This loose connection may also explain why lost soul is in allot of peoples dreams here , shes a powerfull person.

I haven't had any dreams with Lost Soul in them.

well it seems that everyone who's been here a while aside from Will.i.am has had lost soul in a dream or two, or at least want to?

Or - possibly - we dream we're Lucid, and the dream allows us to make changes.
Sorry :lol: I'm not connected to a wakingworld, or on another plane of existence... it's just my brain that makes up really odd thoughts and has the possibility to make it look real. :alien:

as regards to different planes of reality, we are all but energy vibrating on different levels.... the majority of us vibrate on the level we see around us now (the office, the school etc), but when you tune in, open your mind up for different vibrations then you see different things.

it's all reality. just which one would you like to accept. i can't see why you can't accept more than one.

it's always nice to become more aware.

Ahh i have heard the vibrations thing from my mother before this one actually makes sence. I say this because at the molecular level everything is vibrating and if the magnetic field theory is true you should be able to change your resonance frequency and manipulate things or whatever of the same frequency.
