So this usually happens to me when I use WILD or FILD. When I'm lying on my back (which is not my normal sleeping position) my eyes seem to start blinking insanely fast although my eyes are closed. Along with this comes a really fast and heavy heart beat. Anyone experience anything like this or have any answers?
I have not had the quick eye blinking happen, but the sensation of my heart beating fast is relatively common for me. In the book 'astral dynamics' Robert Bruce commented on this, saying it was energy moving through your heart centre and not ones actual heart that is beating fast. It is nothing to worry about in my opinion.
yeah that sounds like too good to be true though. I'm not worried that the heart beating has something to do with my health its just annoying because it prevents me from following through with the WILD and FILD techniques most of the time.
I get this, too, and all I can really say is that if we mentally think (or believe, or feel, or whatever), "Something amazing is happening!" then we are going to have a fast heart rate or other signs of excitement. Taking a few deep breaths, relaxing a bit, and even telling yourself that it is no big deal will help a lot. I think eventually this is something that will go away with time, or at least improve.
