I'm not talking about playing the game inside your dreams, but being inside of the game itself. Where you are the main character.
I was thinking about games like battlefield, csgo, insurgency and chivalry (although not technically a shooter). I think it'd be cool to "be there" in person.
I was in a first person shooter before. It was difficult for me to move around but it felt like I was really in the game. I saw characters jumping around and could hear teammates responding to each other. Although it isn't my preferred game to play. Looked like call of duty.
One time though I was in a place where I had to shoot a giant monster/skeleton. That was fun and it was in first perspective. Think I was on a rocket but I don't remember.
yupp had both, first person and third person. had some ego-shooter, a hack and slash roleplay like diablo and something similar to skyrim. i often can "load" and try same scenario again to do it better with less damage etc. but for me its most of the time low level lucids that have this feeling of beeing in a game (or NLD). when i am fully lucid i am not interested in playing a game. then its more "reallife" or virtual reality^^

As someone who plays games a lot, lot of my dreams involve me being inside various games. Sometimes it's games I play and sometimes it will be unique games. I have experiences fiist-person and third-person like virtual (dream) reality game experiences. They are fun and and the fact that I know it's a "game" makes me feel safe even if I'm not very lucid. My significant other and I play quite a bit of MMORPG as well so we had experienced MMORPG dreams as well. I don't think this is a rare thing as lot of lucid dreamers tend to play games as well.
