first real stable lucid
just to let u guys i had my first , felt like 15 mins or so , lucid dream. i am mega happy , words cant describe it. i been trying for over a year on and off but recently noticed a spike in ld,s. if you interested in wat i changed, i took sageous wild class, but didnt keep up the routine for long. then weeks later i stopped spending all day sitting in front of pc, and took up learning to play the violin. somehow, spending all day playing violin and going to bed with a lot of energy has made my ld success rate go up... i wish u all to find the thing which gives u the best chances for a ld!

Congratz, I'm really happy for you! :) I hope the experience you had boosts your LDing even more!
Using electronics can be a real distraction and your success might have came from your minimization of it.
I also remember reading that doing activities that require mental effort like solving puzzles ( or in your case playing an instrument ) increases the amount of REM you have or something like that (ETWOLD). Not 100% sure about that one though, but it sounds reasonable, because your brain is building stronger neural pathways for the skill ~ you're learning = more subconscious activity ( ? ).

Okay, i went back to spending time on computer, less lucid dreams... I wanted lucid dreams again, This week i am playing the violin and stop playing the computer... Night 2 of the change ... I just had the longest LD i ever had, longer than previous. I'm again really stunned and happy.
