Shadow entities and combat

As of late I've been seeing hordes of intelligent, hostile, and uninvited DCs in most to all of my dreams, lucid or no. They appear to be greenish black silhouettes of anthropomorphic bobcats (yes, I know it's weird). They usually use claws or large polearms like spears and halberds. These shadows speak fluent English and are extremely condescending, and for whatever reason they hate me with a passion. The point is, I can't fight them. My dream control is decent but I tend to only use shadow magic or my werewolf transformation (my Dream Hero League powers) in the spur of the moment, and simply removing them with lucid powers would be too boring . Their physique and perception is higher than mine and there's too many of them. I can take on about 3-4 of them, but otherwise they overwhelm me.

Ok, this is lengthy and weird, but what sort of advice can you guys give me?

Show them your deepest compassion and observe.

I tried that. The one I tried it on didn't respond at all to compassion. It just stood there mildly amused. I killed it. By the way, I forgot to add: their weapons are magic-repellant. They wouldn't be a problem otherwise.
With that said, I made a new magic technique. It's a concentrated shadow bomb that the polearms can't handle. Let's hope it works...

Ok, so why kill anything that stand around mildly amused then? I see no harm in someone that are just standing there.

Never mind, I finally got them by doing something I should've done before --- simply screaming out for help. A massive 6-winged angel came and kicked their butts. And to answer your question, it was threatening me with its weapon before I tried.

P.S. I found that there were three types: the normal green ones, pink ones that were bigger and one yellow one who apparently was even bigger.
