I think it would be a great idea to place your phone near your head as you sleep and let it vibrate every 6 seconds to simulate the Dorsolateral Prefrontal Cortex a region of the brain associated with lucid dreaming. The vibrations should be powerful but not too powerful to keep you awake.
I think its theoreticaly possible, cause thats more or less the same thing some lucid dreaming headgears do. But in general I think it wont work.
I don't see why it should work.
Specific brain areas won't be activated by simply putting a vibrating object against the forehead's skin.
Are you suggesting ducktaping your phone to your head and setting it to vibrate every 6 seconds would get someone lucid consistently?
