Think my Subconscious is my enemy

This morning I had a lucid dream that started in the dream version of my bedroom. I used the wild technique. The lucid dream was clear and stable. I wanted to have lucid sex so I called out "Spawn dc female!" I walked to my front door with a smile on my face ready to meet the girl I spawned. She showed up and my brother came to the door. I opened the the door and greet her. She totally ignored me and pushed me away :holyshit: She was there for my brother and I was the one who spawned her. I was angry and tried to make my brother disappear but it did not work. My brother vanished a few seconds later and the girl ran away from me. I chased her down and asked her why she why was running away from me. She did not respond. When I spawn girls in my lds they go in my brother room and I become so frustrated that I wake up. I feel like I have no control over my lucid dreams. My subconscious is my enemy. :shakehead:

If dreams are reflections of our minds, the way we approach them changes how we view them. In this case, the actual dream will change to represent your new view. One approach would be to be happy for your brother. Maybe another girl will show up for you? Or maybe the dream is inviting you to understand something a little deeper.

The subconscious is not an "entity" that has it out for us. It is merely our fears, doubts, hidden desires, knowledge, and so forth that we have denied and pushed away. The unconscious wants to become conscious. By accepting your dream scene (opening your heart to what is happening, accepting that indeed, these dream girls don't want you in this moment) will give you access to insight. You will not remember all of the dream sex you have but the insights, when they are deep and meaningful, cause us to change. Surely that is most valuable?

So let brother have his fun. Accept openly that it is happening. This is the unconscious becoming conscious. This is transformation happening, if you let it. Long live not getting what we want. It opens doors to things we never imagined could be possible.

1. Next time, ask for twins
2. Be happy for your brother, maybe he lets you join in
3. If you think your subC is your enemy, then you also think YOU is your enemy

In my experience most lucid dreams eventually turn a bit hostile if you're in them long enough

The other day I had a lucid in which I had 4 successive false awakenings, the 3rd dreamscape was hostile, in the 4th dreamscape I was hostile, but so too became the dream, it was actually mocking me, in the 5th dreamscape it also was hostile and it ended my lucid dream.

I had plenty of control, but this didn't keep the dream from mocking me, and immobilizing my mid flight when a dead relative grabbed me by the ankle.

In my first intentional lucid dream (which lasted a full 3 minutes) I was even heckled by a DC, I had to turn away from them removing them from sight to prevent them keeping other DCs from obeying. And then the dreamscape itself attacked me with fast growing grass that enveloped me.

Often I am challenged by dream police, tho I have defeated them. Even so, fighting or even just ignoring hostile stuff in dreams wastes time.

As others said, not an entity, it is just you down there in your head. Some things are random, some things are based on your mental connections, positive and negative.

I have found that being in a dream for too long can make you afraid and thus make the dream hostile. As I have gotten more and more comfortable in a dream. At first 30 minutes in a dream would make me start freaking out and worried about my waking body. Now I have had dreams much much longer without worrying about my body or anything like that. It might just be me, but I don't think the dream gets hostile, but you do. :P

Thank you for the feedback everyone. I just learned about the law of expectation in lucid dreams. It was my negative mindset that caused that situation. My fear of rejection manifest in my lucid dreams as a belief when I think about it. I just have to change my mindset and have position thoughts when I spawn girls. If I think the girls will enter my brother room and not mines it will happen. If I think the girls will ditch me when they come over and become interested in my brother it will happen because I am expecting it negatively. The law of expectation make dream control possible. Next time I'll expect company for me only. :cool:

Remember that some of this expectation is "unconscious expectation" and some of it is closer to "schema" than expectation. I recommend learning to meditate as a way to control your mind in many ways. I consider meditation to be "guided thinking", instead of letting your mind control you, you decide what you are going to think.

Well expectation can be subconscious as Sensei says, but also things in the dream can be representational as well.

Certainly a vague or even abiding expectation won't necessarily prevail

Let me recount for you my most epic fight with dream police in my most epic lucid dream.

I was just having fun based off a fun you-tube video I had seen and was running around the dreamscape having a good time.

When suddenly two dream police show up and basically want to take me in for crimes against dreamanity.

Officer One "I'm afraid you're going to have to come with US".
[I have just flown to super heights, summoned hundreds of DCs, created a fractal hand, cloned DCs etc. I am not for one second going to lose lucidity or comply with these dream police.] I am thinking: you have got to be f'n kidding me. They are both armed I am unarmed, I decide to make a point of my dissidence, I place my right hand on the left shoulder of officer one, I place my left hand on the left side of his head, I separate my hands. His head rolls off across the dreamscape and his body falls to my left.

So what would you expect the reaction of officer two to be, what do you think expectation would lead too. [It would stand to reason that a dreamer should expect instant retreat] Fathom then the action of officer two...

Officer Two "I'm very sorry sir, but I'm afraid your still going to have to come with ME"

I almost wanted to Laugh, I was standing there in disbelief, I had ripped his partner's head off with my bare hands right in front of him, and all he did was change the pronoun (and become apologetic). This is certainly not what I expected.

At this point neither did I expect this second officer was going to allow me to rip his head off. Luckily I have long had a particular power even in non-lucid dreams, the power to draw pistols from my waist (even If I don't have one).

I began to reach for my waist, but my eyes moved to his waist, there was his gun. I hesitated and had second thoughts, sure I'll probably come up with a gun but he definitely will (expectation) since I can see his.
Hmm... let me think where in this dreamscape can I definitely find a gun, I look down to the headless uniformed corpse as I see the head still rolling a bit further away, and see the other gun. (expectation paying off for sure here, I never doubted it would be there)

So what do I expect at this point, well I have further to reach and he is going to see it, he will have the drop on me, but then again this is my LUCID dream. I reach, he draws and hits me twice, as I draw he is backing away. I expect that I will heal instantly and I do. He is firing continuously, and so am I, but my gun runs out of bullets and his doesn't [how is this fair?] I have to yell 'reload' at my gun a few times before it to upgrades to infinite bullets (not that either one of us is hitting each other at increasing distance).

Eventually he has retreated to a white police van, and firing out the window, he is backing away at high speed. [Well I got the retreat I expected, by the way I did get a lot of hits on that van, paint was flying all over the place as I riddled it]

So now we come to possibly the most important expectation of all in this dream, because although I'm about to enter the void, I will recover, and more importantly I will return to a similar dreamscape, and continue one my merry way. But first my all important action.

I was having fun, I was accosted by dream police, I fail to convince the survivor to just leave, I win an epic battle, I am standing in the dreamscape with a gun in my hand.

My all important action, of the utmost importance. I toss the gun across the dreamscape.

Stop for a second and ask yourself why? Why did I do this?

Consider the expectation from the other side, imagine you're the enemy... your subconscious.

Look there he is 'the dreamer', standing there in the dreamscape, and just look at his hand, he has a gun in it. [Just what do you imagine the subconscious is thinking... what is it's expectation] I guess he's looking for a fight, sure the dreamer can summon guns from his waist out of nothingness. I'm the subconscious, I can summon everything he has ever feared from the entirety of his experience. ...So he wants a fight does he...

No, I didn't want a fight, this is why I tossed the gun.
