Non-lucids about LD'ing?
How common are non-lucid dreams in which you find yourself thinking about LD, wishing you were LD'ing, talking to dream characters about it, and even planning what you would do if you were lucid? I've had two of these now, and interestingly, the plans of action i came up with (when dreaming) were things i had never considered before when awake. Now if i could just go that one extra little step of remembering to RC!
Almost there!

YEY!
Dreams in which you talk, think about lucid dreams are quite common. I have mentioned lucid dreams to characters in my dreams, even gave lessons on LDing. I find that in these dreams I am more There. It almost feels like when you have a though and it's on the tip of your tongue, you just can't formulate it. It doesn't click. I can almost hear the gears in my head turning frantically, trying to figure it out. I know something is suppose to happen, I just can't go over that last hump.
And when you find yourself doing or thinking or even remembering things that you would normally not do or remember while awake, that is just too awesome. I love those. You feel so smart and powerful. It's quite exhilarating and uplifting.
These dreams happen when you are on a verge of having a lucid dream. Either it's about to happen in next few minutes if you don't wake up, or during next few nights.

This happens to me in almost every non lucid I remember. Very common

Awesome. Sounds like a good sign.

This happens to me all the time! There is a sort of blurred line of semi-lucid or lucid-like vividness in these dreams, and sometimes I will even exhibit dream control skills. The big turning point for me is always when I do an RC. Then everything surges into focus and I'm completely "there". When I was younger and I used to have lots of LDs, I feel like most of my DILDs were triggered by awareness of that "there" feeling more than dream signs or anything. So I think these are the types of dreams that it is much easier to become lucid in.
