      Question A "Non-Sounding" RC trigger?

      Hello!
This is my first post in this wonderful community and I hope we all get along and have some nice lucid dreams.
First of all I (DO NOT THINK) I had a proper lucid dream, rather some kind of weird experiences of semi-lucid and a lot of failed attempts. But that's another story...

Basically, my daily routine consists of waking up at 6:30, going to school and coming home mostly at 18:00. My courses last an hour and looking at your phone / having a call or a message with sound is prohibited. So having an app giving random trigger sounds is not an option.

I am really determined to start doing RCs all the day in order to try a DILD method, something like looking at my hands, but the problem is - I forget doing it throughout all day long.
What can i use to trigger myself (except sound-related triggers) doing it more and more often at start, so later i could do it later without having a need in a trigger?

Thank your for any kind of advice.

      Welcome to the forum!

One possible method is to write the word "Dream" on the back of your hand. That way, every time you see it on the back of your hand, you'll remember to RC. If you want to be a little less conspicuous (and probably avoid those people that inevitably ask why you have "Dream" written on your hand), you could just simply make a dot or a line on your hand - as long as you remember that it means you should RC.
"Going through life worrying about the little things is like cooking with motor oil instead of cooking oil. Sure, you can still probably pull it off, but it'll leave a bad taste in your mouth in retrospect." - Me, apparently

Hi, you can change your phone wallpaper which says "Are you dreaming?" or something like that. Every time you see it, you do a reality check. Also, you can do RC every time you go through doors, every time you see something etc. At first, you may forget doing it this way but later you'll get better.

You could also use different states of mind. I try to RC when I'm confused, surprised, or can't remember something because those things happen constantly in dreams.
