      Dreams cutting in and out

Instead of one fluid dream sequence my experience will be fading in and out as the scenes change.
I keep entering the same dream, sometimes picking up where I left off and sometimes it will be something entirely new.
It's not like I'm waking up every time this happens, but more like a bunch of mini dreams that all happen in the same night.
Has anybody else ran into this problem or know how to combat it?
      Thanks in advance!

I am confused. Are you lucid during this time? if so it sounds like you are looking to increase your control over your dreams and stabilize the scenes? If so, take a look at the http://www.dreamviews.com/dream-cont...-tutorial.html and also http://www.dreamviews.com/wiki/Dream...arity-Tutorial

If these are not lucid dreams, then perhaps this is not a problem but rather your awareness has increased and now you are more aware of what nonlucid dreams often are like? I remember when I increased my awareness a lot, I one time actually caught myself rearranging dream scenes to form a cohesive whole and narrative during dream recall. Nonlucid dreams are often messy and fading in and out or being out of sequence and such is very common, and not a problem but just the nature of many nonlucid dreams.

You may say I'm a dreamer.
