Any New Breakthroughs For Lucid Dreaming?

Whether it be personal or explained through scientific proof, I'm curious if any of you have come across any small or big mind blowing info about the topic of lucid dreaming. Everyone has their own goal of discovery or experimenting at some point I think but not everyone writes it out here or have journals so I'm curious. If you don't feel like sharing anything that's fine. I came up with this thread topic to see if others can help me build up what I already know with new or refreshing information they want to share.Something different than what is usually talked about that makes you feel like "Hey, I think I've got something here...". It helps more if you've continued to pile on information about it with more lucid dreaming experiences.

Also,I know this has been asked before but I would like to know about recent experiences or data collected if possible.

One more thing. What more do you think should be reasearched or looked into when it comes to lucid dreaming?
