Long LD but some of it forgotten
After having a very short LD the night before last, decided to try again last night. Took my supplements for the second day in a row (which I never do) and got down to doing my WILD procedure after my WBTB. Ended up having a very long LD in which I did many things that I wanted to do. At some point I got a bit bored and did a spin (first time ever) to try change the scene. It worked and I went on to what seemed like the second half of my LD. At some point I realized that I remembered very little of the first half of my LD, and the events I did remember could not be remembered in any kind of sequence. It appeared to me that the first half of the LD seemed to have no dream plot and was just me mostly doing a bunch of fun things that I wanted to do. The LD after the scene change seemed to have more of a plot that I went along with although I still knew I was lucid. I eventually just went to sleep with no other dreams remembered. I woke up a short time later feeling very pleased with the LD experience, although I still could not remember a large part of the dream. Has this sort of thing happened to anyone else? I usually wake up right after having an LD and remember most of it very clearly. Do you think that my doing so many things with no particular dream plot was just more than I would be able to remember? It seems to me that during waking life if you do a lot during the day it can also be hard to remember everything you did including the sequence of events. Is it just that memory is a little more difficult to access while dreaming? I'm constantly working on my LDing experiences, so I'd be interested in anyone else's opinions.
