There's a person in my dream, it's me, but not?

So, a little backstory, I have major Insomnia, Mood Disorders (Severe Depression and other things), and I may be possibly Bipolar (as my Doctor describes). I for some reason can tell the future as well, I dream about things on the side without reaiizing and that same event happens in real life.

The past 3 days have been very weird for me, as my dreams have become more, alive, than ever. Usually, I remember a dream faintly, and I often forget in a matter of minutes, but this, I remember everything, down to the little detail. I've never personally Lucid Dreamed (although I do realize I am Lucid Dreaming but I wake myself in excitement.

The past 2 days I was dreaming about some characters in a weird world, a place where the main character has psionic abilities. 2 days ago I dream about part 1 and today I dreamed part 2. But that isn't what I can't explain.

2 nights ago, during the developing story in front of me, I decided to take control of the main character, and it worked! Before I woke up from the dream, I was being stabbed in 3 places by doctors of a crazy Asylum. When I woke up, I felt like I just had a shot in those 3 exact places, and when I touched them, it hurt like crazy!

But last night, something really weird happened. I took control of the character again, BUT, a cringe-like moment came up (I'm prone to cringe at things and will pause the movie or whatever it is I'm watching if it's too cringy for me to watch), and I closed my eyes, but when I opened them I was greeted to a black void, but in the center was the dream in its place, frozen. But what was even more strange, was I saw myself, right in front of it, screaming at how cringy it was, he, I, moved my hands from right to left and the image of the dream actually changed. Keep in mind, this is not me, this is me but someone else. This person screamed "Play" out loud and the dream resumed, with a different set of events. I think this person removed the cringy moment from the dream and resumed it because that moment wasn't there.

I didn't think about talking to this person because I was too excited to resume the story, so I put myself back into the character. This person though, I have no idea who this is. It's me but not me at the same time. Maybe this is my subconscious self? He seemed to be the one actually controlling the dream, I was just I guess facilitating. I've only ever seen this person one other time when I was younger. I tried talking to him but he just shook his head from side to side, pointed at me, and I woke up.

Some things to note: I realize I am dreaming, because I keep telling myself this is not real: Throughout the dream, I say "this isn't real" and it sounds like it's echoing, and it's really distant. I don't realize I could do something about it though as this being seems to be doing it for me. I see him, but I also see that he doesn't see me...however, I can feel he knows I am there. Almost like I'm connected to him, we have the same emotions and feelings and thoughts, so I can feel that he knows I'm there watching. He was acting like I would have, so excited to show someone something. I think he was really excited to show me the dream like he's been waiting for a long time. The dreams also happen so fast, in about 5 minutes I think. It's like a movie, being fast-forwarded. But I am basically able to recall what felt like 5 days of emotions, feelings, and events. When I am also playing as the main character, I can control his actions to whatever I please, and this being adapted to what I do and creates the dream onward. The dreams also seem to happen in chronological order. I also can't get a good view of him, the dream looks really high in image fidelity but this being is real fuzzy, I know it's me because I can feel it's me, but it's not my own mind controlling it.

Perhaps he's trying to tell me something, but can't talk to me directly for some reason so he uses the form of dreams to try and talk to me? He and I both register that we are in the same place, but he doesn't look at me. I can only feel what he feels and see what he does when it comes to him. I just recently cried about things I've been holding inside for over 5 years, that's what started these dreams and me seeing this person again after so long.

Does anyone have any personal experience of an event like this? This story isn't finished and I know I'll be dreaming about it again, but I just don't know how or why it's deciding to happen now. I feel like I'm new to Lucid Dreaming (in the dream) so I'm scared on things to do and try, but this person clearly is an expert at it and has been doing it for a long time probably.
