      The awakening Journey

I don't suggest my truth is valid for anyone else but me, so I'm not saying my statements here are any reflection of anything other than my journey, and if it adds something to your experience, great. I have often considered that nursery song 'row row row your boat, gently down the stream'. I have since taken it literally, what if waking life is merely the default dream that continues within other dreams.

With this idea I built around this a type of 'inception' philosophy. The dreams I had a night were just as real, just as much as reality, until you wake up. I began giving credibility to entities and events in my dream world, as if they were real when lucid.

I began having two diaries, one for my every day life, and one for my dream life. It was like juggling different lives at once. Then I began to think about sensations. Eating in a dream, what felt like solid, pain in a dream, memories in a dream. All these things seem to be able to be duplicated in the dream.

So then I considered something else, what if food itself was actually just another addiction and imagination, that drew me to the default plain of this 'waking dream'. Did I really need food if I tried, was it just an illusion like in my dream world. This process of thinking began when I considered that the less I ate, the less I wanted to eat, and the more I ate, the hungrier I got.

I considered that magnetic forces may be capturing me on this level of existence dimensionally, and that food and my thinking process was a part of my tuning into this frequency of reality. If I didnt eat of course I would die and starve. but then I thought about people that had being in near death situations, towards the end did they not hallucinate water or food. How do we know that when death comes, it's not enough 'waking up' into something else.

This made me skeptical of death in general. I grew suspicious that death was actually a real thing.

      to be continued maybe.....

There's a chance this thread might get moved to Beyond Dreaming, since there is talk of stuff beyond the scope of people's normal experience.

But oh wow, I love your perspective.

The way I see it is, all is dream. Or, all is consciousness.
Funnily enough, I plan on doing a video at some point titled, "Life is a DREAM. How to get LUCID."

Food is another funny one. I barely eat. And indeed, the less I eat, the less I feel I need it. I lose a bit of weight but I'm still pretty healthy.
Have you ever heard of breatharians? Those who live off nothing but sunlight, air and prana (cosmic life force energy). Also sungazers, who focus on getting all their energy by staring into the sun.
However, I'm not suggesting you stop eating. For all I know, I could be developing health issues by eating barely anything. Also I sometimes have a lack of energy, it makes me a bit lethargic at times.
Also, breatharian practice isn't something you can just do automatically. Apparently people pay millions to learn how to do it. It's one of the many secrets in the world.

And about death. It is technically a real thing, I mean, in this layer of reality, it is something which happens. But within the spiritual circles I'm involved in, death is considered an illusory thing. And there are different perspectives which share that belief.
And personally, I know death to be illusory. The "true self" is undying and unborn. It's eternal.
But I don't go round telling people that, because there's a truth behind it which one must see for oneself. I just thought I'd mention it since you brought it up.

Yeah that would be cool. I still don't think there is enough study or research into this area, people can be missing out on a big part of their development by ignoring it. Like in school they don't teach 'it's important in preventing nightmares to bla bla bla', like no part of the education system even covers anything about dream control or lucidity, and yet it is basically half of our life that we are dreaming asleep. Some people get nightmares or night terrors or have lots of problems with sleep. So it doesn't really make sense not to cover it as part of wellbeing.

Yes I have. I never met anyone that has shown me they live off direct sunlight though, but if anyone ever did, I wouldn't really be that shocked about it. In ancient alchemy the body was seen as something that transforms energy, if that be food, sunlight, or water. It has being shown that sunlight is absorbed in the skin gives vitamin D.

I have herd of organ transplants including heart transplants where the person receiving the donors organ, actually craves the same foods as the previous person. This suggests to me a cellular memory which could make up the DNA. So in other words the person who is use to eating chicken a lot has 'trained' their body to specifically 'run on chicken', as that becomes what the body craves and is use to transforming into energy. So it's quite possible that other things such as sunlight, or any type of different food, could dominate a persons facility into transference of energy.

This is not to say that all diets are the same. Obviously a healthy diet will assist in energy and vitality, but it doesn't seem to really matter for me if I eat the exact recommended dose of vegetables. Going by my experience I can live off foods which is a stupid crazy diet, and I don't starve or feel too malnourished. My theory is that the body can learn to transform energy of any types of foods, to what it needs, if trained correctly. The more sophisticated the transformation, the more difficult it being to train for it, for example the sunlight example. would be an extreme version of energy transformation used by your DNA. At that level you would have a very efficient 'machine' or 'body vehicle' so to speak.

Without even thinking about death there is "old age". The body beginning to deteriorate, that in itself is a mysterious scientific process to me. Anti aging technology and knowledge should be very interesting. The closest I have got to death is being unconscious. People under surgery when they are drugged report no time passing between the surgery. That could be seen as a form of death since they miss a big chunk of time and then just 'wake up' in a future time.
