Hm, are you sure it's not a coincidence? Could you be having nightmares on those days? What do you do in your Lucids? Do you remember having bad feeling from them? |
for the past year or so, i would always wake up covered in sweat upon awakening, from head to toe dripping as if i ran a marathon in the desert. What i did not account for was that the time this started happening, was when i first started lucid dreaming. Now whenever i have a dream where im lucid, the following morning i will wake up sweating. |

Do you sweat trying to lucid dream before going to sleep? I know I will if I have a sweatshirt+pajama bottoms on and a blanket over me. Maybe removing your blanket and/or some of your clothes would help. It helps me. |
That is strange. You don't sweat during normal dreams? Does it feel like you are overheating, or overstressing? |
I don't see any way that the sweating could be related to being lucid in your dream. It has to be coincidence, or something you are doing differently in your life. |
ive had lucid dreams in the middle of the day and still sweat after them, i never have a vad feeling in them, its the only thing that connects the 2, when im not lucid i dont wake up sweating, sleep habits have been very stable past few months |
Are your lucids nightmares? Other than that, I can't think of anything. Lucids are same as regulars, only difference is the awareness. Sorry, was not able to help you out. |
no nightmares, i will admit some can get a little intense though... ive taken some sleeping medicine tonight so well see how that works |
It might be the excitement of becoming lucid itself. |

Attempting WILD: 0
Have achieved SP with mild HI previously, haven't attempted much in the past.
still doesnt feel like thats it but maybe |
Do you sleep in a different position when you lucid dream? Maybe it has something to do with your breathing, or lying on your back, or something. This is so weird. |
That's a good idea, especially on the stomach it could be that, I sleep on my side all the time and seem fine. |

il try that tonight |

I think it is either something different your doing, coincidence, eating/drinking something different, or overheating. Otherwise I Anthony think anything else could cause it. Maybe you have some kind of illness and you should see a doctor or clinic about it. Sorry can't help you much. |
i just woke up from sleeping on my back/stomach and my torso didnt sweat, but my arms neck legs and head were sweaty...this is starting to get out of hand |
I have been an lucid dreamer my whole life I have used it to my advantage changing past events that effected me ect. However I do sweat when I go lucid this is because your body is firering off all the same sensory signals as if you were awake and this can cause one to sweat whilst asleep, uasally waking up and taking the duvet off for a minute or too will help but it is common to sweat whilst you are lucid and vivid dreaming. |
HMM this doesn't happen to me but for those who it does I hope they can find what helps |
