Complete beginner, 3 lucid dreams in one night. It is normal or I experience normal dreams?

Hi guys, I know I have made a lot of posts but I promise, last one I am doing this week. (and the next one) xD Please help me with this one. I'm literally shaking. I've just woke up and had 3 LUCID DREAMS this god damn night. I'm a complete beginner, I've only practiced lucid dreaming for 3 WEEKS. I got lucid in the first one the following way: I was in my school, Thursday, and it was time for geography and I got a little bit suspicious. I knew it was weird because we didn't have geography lessons on Thursday and I EVEN ASKED myself "Am I dreaming" and I was 100% I am not dreaming but I decided to count my fingers anyway. First hand, 5 fingers. Second hand. 6 FINGERS. OH SHIT I'M LUCID AGAIN. I walked a little bit in my school. I opened a door and got into a restaurant. Then, I felt the dream fading out and rubbed my hands together. And it worked! After some seconds it started fading out and I felt like had no control to stop it and I said "It's okay, I'll have more. Also my first lucid dreams don't need to be that long". Then I had another lucid dream which I don't remember. 3rd one and the best in. My first lucid dream in which I actually had the power to do something. I was in a modern house with a monster chasing me. It was no big deal for me because I used to have lots of nightmares as a kid. Dying, burning alive, getting stabbed, no big deal anymore. Back to the dream, so that monster was chasing me and I still didn't realize I was dreaming. Then I think I kinda remember I had a previous dream and said to myself "This could be a dream too! Let's perform a reality check!". 6 fingers on a hand. " Sweet!". Alright, that thing was still chasing me so I had to do something. I stopped in the corner of a room and tried to stop the monster from chasing me. First attempt, no success. Second, still no success. He was so close to me and then I finally made him stop by pointing my hands at him and imagining him stop. I then turned him into a lady. I then tried to fly a little bit in the room. The dream (since I became lucid) lasted for a grand 30 seconds! Then I woke up and here I am writing this to you. Alright, my question is, what if this dreams are actually normal dreams about me lucid dreaming? I ask you this because for example, in the first one, where I was in the restaurant, I ignored the people's faces around me. Now that I woke up I remember them blurred, however I didn't realize that in the dream even tho I was lucid and I really knew I was dreaming. I even told myself "Yay, I'll tell everybody when I wake up!". Is it normal to miss such details when dreaming and being aware of it? So, could I just experience normal dreams but that dreams being about lucid dreaming? Sorry if I sound stupid but I refuse to believe what happened to me. Thanks for your time! :)

Hi Lemon, Congrats on being lucid :rolllaugh: i Think its awesome when you finally achieve lucidity and are able to better understand what your mind is capable off. Anyway im not a pro lucid dreamer or anything, but most lucid Dreams you can rate on a scale from 1- 10 where 10 is 100 % lucid and you could Control elements and Dream scenes and Dream characters etc. but on number 1 you might simply be aware that your dreaming, but have very Little Control of yourself or enivironment . If you keep practicing you will soon have alot more Control :-) Welcome too forum btw

Hi QuickLemon! I have appreciated your other posts and this one too. Great job on getting lucid. It sounds like actual lucid dreaming to me. Keep on posting as much as you want :)

This is why memory is included along side lucid dreaming. You are now dealing with two very aware states of consciousness. It is possible to be dreaming and able to recall everything that is happening around you to only wake up and be uncertain if you truly were awake to begin with. The same applies to those who believe they never dream because they can not recall any experience with the dream world upon awakening.

However as you know this is false. In a lucid dream you are "usually" more awake than you are in waking life. That is why upon awakening you will have trouble remembering your dreams regardless if you had a lucid dream. I have used this as a positive by things that I have forgotten in waking life and could not recall was possible to remember upon trying to remember such thing's in a lucid dream.

Yes, it is very possible that you had three lucid dreams in one night (various members, including myself, have experienced at least five in a single night). There is not really a concept about 'dreaming that you were lucid dreaming', as you still know you are dreaming, therefore lucid. Consequently, the concept is a somewhat ludicrous constriction to 'qualification of lucidity', but could be more sensibly regarded as even a potential experiment with dream induction techniques (such as WILD).
Meanwhilst, if you are expressing the possiblity of dreams being recalled from many nights before, that's a much deeper question...
