A strange man in my dreams: is he my dream guide?
I hope this is the right place for this post.
So, last year in September I had a weird nightmare. To keep it short I was standing in front of a market stand with its owner by it. It was a man with white hair, he was maybe in his 50's or 60's. I got a wise but bad vibe from him, gained lucidity and flew away. I heard him talk in the background of my dream. I told him to be quiet.
I didn't think much of that dream because it just seemed like a weird lucid nightmare (the man was bad and I felt like he was going to do something to me, that's why it was a nightmare), but last night I had a DEILD with the same man in it. I was in front of him and his stand again. This time he wasn't bad, but I was afraid of his stand at first. He convinced me otherwise and soon the dream ended. The dream was unstable from the beginning, but I still feel like he distracted me from my LD with his stand. I have longer versions of the dreams in my DJ.
These dreams got me thinking and my question is, who is this man? Is it just a coincidence that the two men resembled each other and had a stand of some kind? Is it like a villain within my dream world? Or might he actually be my dream guide giving me a challenge or something? I don't have a DG yet so I don't know how he/she/it is supposed to behave. I definitely want to ask him a few questions if/when I see a man like that again. Please tell me what you think.
