Permanent places to visit in dreams?

In my normal lucid dreams, everything feels very temporary and my actions seem insignificant. Although these types of dreams can still be tonnes of fun, I am interested in the possibility of creating some place - like a city or town of some kind - which I can visit and things are still relatively unchanged and I can sort of "get to know" the characters living there and build relationships with them. I think this could be interesting. At the moment I have one or two characters that I sort of talk to occasionally, but I want to expand that to a whole place with many people, as that seems pretty fun.

Do what I was wondering was, have any of you had places like this in your dreams? Did they occur naturally, or did you create them? I am curious to hear about your ideas, maybe it will give me motivation to find/create a place like that within my dreams

I have certain persistent places that pop up in dreams from time to time, sometimes even in non lucid dreams. There is a house I find myself in a lot, to the point where I could describe every room and the furnishings. There are also some outdoor settings I visit a lot. As far as I know, none of them are real places I’ve even been in real life.
