Any thoughts? Seems like it has proper placement of ground electrodes and they have a history of actually delivering products.

"Cleverly, the headband will detect when you’ve fallen asleep and turn off the audio meditation — although it will continue to track your sleep patterns."

As you can see It shuts off when you fall asleep while mediating before bed, so in my opinion even out of the box without the apps that are coming it would be great for wake back to bed since when it turns off when it detects sleep like braiwaves, you would then know you were close to reentering after a quick wake up.

Hopefully some form of deild alarm app can be made, as it actually has much better electrode placement then other products "available" in quotations since those products haven't ever been delivered. Any thoughts? This company has one of the only headbands with a very positive score on amazon. Nice to see them dipping their toes closer to a lucid dreaming device. I like Muse since they never made outlandish claims of instant lucid dreaming or instant susses mediating. It's hard to detect rem, probably not even with the seven electrode's on this product, and with the ones that have only three, i'd argue it's near impossible.

"According to TechCrunch, the Softband will offer a variety of other use cases, alongside sleep tracking, although Muse has yet to reveal exactly what these might be."

I'm kinda crossing my fingers on why these could be. Sounds likely some form of official ld like stuff may be revealed.

Hopefully it will be customizable enough to work as alarm for DEILDs/WILDs.

Rarely If ever DEILD worked out for me after natural awakening, so I used alarms (alarm clock xtreme).
It was kinda messy process but it worked. Needed alarm to start-up after 6 hours of sleep, then every 10 minutes ring for few seconds.
If I was lucky it woke me up during ongoing dream, then I proceeded to imagine that my bed is spinning/moving.
Eventually spinning/moving sensation started to become real, vibrations started, and uhhh.. I was lucid in a dream version of my room.

Now imagine If all this stuff could be automated by this kind of device (as long as it doesn't break instantly)
      I'm back! Again? Uhhh..
