Everytime I try to do a WILD I can't concentrate because of music you usually hear in your head. I can't get rid of it and it makes me frustrated and distracts me. How do I get rid of the music?

Hmmm... Music? You mean like a song stuck in your head, or your background thoughts, or what?
A song stuck in your head.
:offtopic: By the way was laying the egg painful?

I was like what.the.fuck then I remembered the lucid task of the month
damnit I so incredibly want to try that one
and as far as getting music out of your head, try meditation
so far that's the only thing I know of that works
Just acknowledge it, and let it go. It's one of those universal conundrums: The harder you try the more sticky it is.
What Kim said.
And, don't worry about clearing it away completely. You don't need to... you just need it to not bother you. That can be accomplished many ways. By having it soft, and in the background, or simply in the foreground but not distracting you.
Your body pulses with rhythm every minute you're alive, and yet this rhythm doesn't usually bother you - and you're always aware of it, if only subtly. So let it go like it is any normal function your body does while it's alive.
Try getting some white noise with a fan or something, and concentrating on that instead.
I know exactly what you are talking about. I used to have it lal the time. Its like heairng a radio softly from another room in the house, only in you head. I find that if I just let out a small groan, it grounds me abck to the outside world as far is concerned, and the music goes away.
When I have a song in my head and can't get it out, I just imagine the noise of static, as if you left a TV on a channel that wasn't coming in. It works pretty well to clear my mind.
Hope this helps.
You know that's an incredibly excellent ideaQuote:
