“Basics” Video [Semi-community-driven project]
INTRODUCTION
For around a week now, a friend and I have been planning some things out for a video-formatted lucid dreaming guide.
It originally started as a troll video that would just cut to a rickroll at the first few seconds. But I actually wanted to make a video guide because literally nobody was bothering to try and make it, besides ELD, but it isn’t what we want, even if his most recent guide is somewhat solid. Except, there was one person willing to help me out on making a video, and his name is Skyfall Blind Dreamer. We’ve agreed for him to do the voiceovering for the video (he is REALLY good at public speaking). And I will be doing the visuals and editing for the video. We’re both working on the script for the video, and a select few will also be able to edit the script as they please. We’re looking for people’s ideas on what should be added to the script, so don’t hesitate to make suggestions and contributions, even if you think it’s far fetched, we still take any ideas in consideration!
SCRIPTING
More in-depth into the scripting.
Script will contain 2 editors at the start, we’ll change this if seen fit.
Skyfall and I are the only script editors for now. However, if Hukif, Mzzkc, Sensei, or Naiya would like to edit, I trust them enough for that task.
For people who would like to add/change anything but are not a script editor, simply make a suggestion to me and I’ll take it into consideration.
So far, I’ve decided to include four or more things in the guide. Current decided things are:
The lucid dreaming fundamentals, WBTB (Wake Back to Bed), a daytime technique (most likely going to mention state testing here), a nighttime technique most likely gonna mention MILD here), and the guide will also have a word on misinformation. More things are definitely gonna be added to this list, but this is all we have for now.
One more thing, if anyone knows a good alternative to Google Docs that has live sharing and document editing, post a comment about it, because Google Docs doesn’t work with Skyfall’s screen reader (Skyfall is blind and uses “Non-Visual Desktop Access” to read things, google docs seems to be incompatible with it).
