please help me
ok so i'm making this post just so i can know if it's possible to give your subconscious a command to repeat a sound in your head over and over again? i remember reading something like this on reddit but right now i can't find it anywhere, it's about a lucid dreamer that spoke to his subconscious and asked it to replay some sort of sound over and over again (even after he wakes up) (!!) i wanted to try lucid dreaming but i'm kinda creeped out to actually start practicing because of this, is that actually possible?

In my experience, I'm not sure something this drastic is possible. Maybe this person was being dramatic in order to earn imaginary internet points? I certainly haven't heard of anything like it before. We really don't know a ton about dreams & sleep yet...that's one of the things that makes it so exciting! I wouldn't worry too much about this. Plenty of people practice lucid dreaming and they are just fine. However, for what it's worth, I am hoping to utilize something similar. Basically, I want to ask a DC to make me lucid whenever they see me in a normal dream. That way I'll be lucid every dream.

I think you can do it while you are under hypnosis or when you have just done something that relaxes your mind.

I believe you can perform it when you are hypnotized or after engaging in a mind-calming activity.

Hypnosis can help with mind-calming activity but, it may not make you regain or maintain lucidity.

You can train your subconscious mind to focus on certain sounds or thoughts, especially in a lucid dreaming context. Techniques like visualization and affirmations can help strengthen this command. However, it's important to approach lucid dreaming with a positive mindset and practice relaxation techniques to calm any fears you may have.

I wouldn't put too much focus into this. You will need to work on your prospective memory if you really wish to perform this task. Even if you DO remember this task in a lucid dream, chances are it will be a random sound or whisper.
