someone else can't focus when trying techniques and still managed to get lucid?

i have this problem for quite a few years now, no matter what.

i can't focus on any technique, especially MILD and WILD

because i either focus on a mantra, intention of getting lucid (visualizing a LD)

or anchoring, or i focus on sleeping.

Anyone else has this problem and still managed to get lucid somehow?

what technique you used or what did it work for you?

the only LDs that i had were DILDs which doesn't require me to

focus my attention on visualizing a dream or an intention when im trying to sleep.

but tbh DILD is rather exhausting and i've tried to build a habit for it and i failed.

I really wanted to have success with the other techniques but i also have this focusing problem.

what should i do?

Are you able to intentionally incubate a non-lucid dream where you notice your body? How about one where you notice your arm, or your hand, or your finger, or your fingernail, or the fingernail of the pinkie finger of your right hand? I imagine that if we intentionally incubated a dream where we noticed the tip of the fingernail of the pinkie finger of our right hand, we would have a good chance of becoming lucid during that dream. Maybe we could work on being able to intentionally incubate a non-lucid dream about noticing more a specific part of our body to increase our chance of lucidity.

Oh special tips for MILD: you can set a reminder throughout the day to ask yourself "Am I dreaming?" and try to visual yourself having a lucid dream. Hope this helps!
