Need ideas for a high school LD experiment and presentation

Hello. I am taking a special class at my school that allows me to do a scientific research project of my choice. I am very interested in LD tech, but the gears of this realm move very slowly, if they move at all. The amount of scams and unclarity in this realm is also frustrating, and I wanted to make an amateur study about the effectiveness of external stimulation on lucid dreaming. Specifically, I wanted to experiment with a device called the Neuromyst, an incredible little device that allows you to perform tdcs and tacs neurostimulation at home (only $140 on amazon, which is crazy). However, the recent studies on this have been unpromising, but I still feel like it could have potential. Do you have any scientific LD questions that you want answered? Once I decide on a hypothesis, I’ll leave updates here on my experiment from time to time if you want.
